Cannon River Winery Wins Prestigious Awards at the 9th Annual Taste of Lakeville

Cannon River Winery took home some very prestigious awards at the 9th Annual  Taste of Lakeville where over 500 wines from around the world were poured!

Despite the damp, chilly weather, it was a complete sellout of 2,500 tickets. All proceeds benefitted the Lakeville Rotary Club and their work that supports the community.

Awards Cannon River Winery received:
Gunflint Red - Best Regional
Graciela - Best Premium White (Import or Domestic)
Winter Ice - Best Dessert Aperitif (Import or Domestic)
Winter Ice - "People's Choice-Champion Wine"  (This award represents the favorite of all wines poured!!!!)

2010 International Cold Climate Wine Competition

Bootlegger's Red wins medal

Cannon River Winery is pleased to announce that Bootlegger's Red has won a medal in the Grand Harvest Awards 2010 Wine Competition for the Vineyard & Winery Management Magazine!

Wines are grouped and judged according to their essential viticultural region. Recognition of terrior was considered a quality factor in the determination of the award. The five panel judges were experts from the ranks of wine professionals.

Vineyard & Winery Management Magazine is a leading trade publication serving the North American Wine Industry designed specifically for today's serious wine business professionals. Judging concluded Thursday February 25th.
